2024 Rotary Teacher & Student of the Year Congratulations to our 2024 Rotary Teacher & Student of the year recipients: Chris Wallgren and Chloe! Chris works with students on both the Home Study and On Campus programs and is vital to our school community as a whole. Thank you Mr. Wallgren for all that you do to make Harvest Ridge a special place! Chloe was with our Home Study program last school year and came to our On Campus program this school year. LCAP Parent/Staff/Community Survey, 2023-2024 Thank you for your support of our school. Harvest Ridge strives to continuously engage parents, students, employees, and the community to monitor the progress of our goals to improve student achievement and school services. The Board and school leadership are committed to ensuring our resources are used to meet the needs of all students. Our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) addresses the school’s vision for student learning, outlines actions and annual goals, and demonstrates how the school’s budget supports those goals. As an involved school partner, you are invited to share your input and suggestions to help us evaluate our offerings and inform decision making for our LCAP for the upcoming school year. The survey is organized into three categories representing the over-arching goals and areas of feedback for our school: Providing high quality instruction, providing a positive school culture, and Facilities/Parent Input/Enrichment. Please share your thoughts about current conditions at our school and make suggestions for improvement. This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential. Comprehensive School Safety Plan The California Constitution guarantees California children the right to attend public schools that are safe, secure, and peaceful. The CDE, public school districts, county offices of education (COEs), and schools and their personnel are responsible for creating learning environments that are safe and secure. First responders, community partners, and families play an essential role, as well. Schools must be prepared to respond to emergencies including natural and man-made hazards, and strive to prevent violence and behavior issues that undermine safety and security. CSSPs include strategies aimed at the prevention of, and education about, potential incidents involving crime and violence on the school campus and aspects of social, emotional, and physical safety for both youth and adults. On 2/2/2024 our board of directors passed the latest Comprehensive School Safety Plan for Harvest Ridge. Click here to review the 2024 HRCCS Comprehensive School Safety Plan.
